CERAMICS

The diverse shapes can be stacked and arranged in different ways in order to influence each other. Once placed in the sunlight they start to expose so that every single object is influenced by the shadow/ edge of another member. The tile was dipped in red cabbage juice and exposed to the sunlight. A small object placed on it shows the lightsensitive characteristics of the juice.(2014)
Exposing Ceramics visualizes the relations in a family. Every family member influences another in a certain way. The ceramic is coloured with natural juices that react lightsensitive. Parts that were exposed to the sun appear a darker tone, the unexposed parts are brighter. The family stands together to share and differ in taste as spice containers and accompany the family at the daily meal.
